Arkansas and other parts of the United States will experience a total eclipse of the sun on Monday, April 8. C3 will host a gathering at the church building for who want to watch the eclipse while it's visible in Mountain Home.
People can arrive between 10:30 and 11:00 a.m. and should bring their own lunch. We'll eat and visit while we wait for the eclipse to begin. The eclipse begins at 12:36 p.m. and will reach totality at 1:53 p.m. The total eclipse will last approximately 3 minutes and end around 3:30 p.m.
The viewing will be on the back patio and parking lot. Please park in the back parking lot when you arrive. Don't forget a snack for lunch, a lawn chair and eclipse viewing glasses.
If you don't already have plans, we hope you'll join us! For more information, email Jennifer Baker at jenbaker1951@gmail.com.
